About the Program
Overview
Huston-Tillotson University is proud to present the All-Star Academy Summer Bridge Program! This program is an online six-week summer program especially designed for first time freshmen who plan to attend and graduate from Huston-Tillotson University.

The All-Star Academy Summer Bridge Program promotes an environment where students will have an opportunity to grow, while they enhance their academic and leadership possibilities. The program includes a variety of enrichment activities such as mentorship, leadership development, and career development. By attending the program, students will gain exposure to the full range of resources and facilities that are made available to them by the university. This year the All-Star Academy Summer Bridge Program will be held online from June 27th - August 7th, 2021.
This program focuses on building your English and Math skills. Participants will be enrolled in Math 0330 and English 0311, and complete six [6] hours of college-level coursework. In addition to academic enrichment, this program also provides weekly career networking opportunities, mentoring sessions with Austin community leaders, and daily tutoring sessions.
Qualifications
The minimum qualifications used to select academically inclined students for participation in the All Star Summer Program are as follows:

ACT score of 16 or higher or a minimum of 900 SAT score*

High school grade point average of 2.3 or higher

Two (2) teacher evaluations

Applicants must be admitted to Huston-Tillotson and must be interested in enrolling at Huston-Tillotson for the Fall 2021 semester.

Important Information
All students enrolled in Huston-Tillotson must have up to date immunization records that
include the following: Tetanus, Meningitis, Measles/Mumps/Rubella, Hepatitis B & Current TB Test.

Additionally, students must complete their FAFSA applications for the 2020-2021 year and the 2021-2022 year.
